Process: Very First Experiments - Creating a Game Environment
The hardest thing early on in the project was how to start to begin experimenting in Mixed Reality. I had researched in various directions, had workshops in Unity and Arduino but had no idea how to go from there. So I went to the pound shop and bought any objects I could incorporate into creating a game environment. Gamification was one of the recurring themes when investigating VR and MR, so I needed any interesting props in order to make a fake VR-esque experience. These props revolved around ideas of time, affecting propioception, hand eye coordination and performance until the first photos using UV lights.
